I love the original anime, but I really hate the American dubbing. What they did to it is absolutely disgusting. They totally ruined my beloved Momoko's character. I don't really care about the American celebrity and American culture nonsense in Japanese anime. Drug bullshit where the main characters are children? Are they like normal? So the original anime is 100%, American dubbing is the ultimate shit. I hope the American dubbing creators rot in hell!

You kids go home and get Earthquake on Netflix" and I knew that Netflix back then was NOTHING like Netflix today. That's when I realized that the cultural references which are the principal source of the humor need some explaining. So I started listing them, and BOY did I find out that I only knew the half of it.
This wiki is about the TV anime series which after almost 20 years is still streaming on Crunchyroll. However, since the series is inspired by the books which have a related series of at least 5 live-action films, it has grown just a bit to encompass, well, whatever anyone wants to throw in. Such as [[Hanako-san ga Kita!!]]. It's an early TV show which leveraged the popularity of Torimitsu's books.
