Anatomy Doll episode 2 timestamp 14-15

Episode 2. Chasing Satsuki and Hajime

The Anatomy Doll is a ghost that is characterized by its half-and-half appearance.  The Anatomy Doll is usually found in the Science room of the old schoolhouse. In Episode 2, the doll chases the kids down the hallway. Hajime kicks over a broom and smashes the doll, and one of the hands crawls away. Although it will pursue people, sometimes nothing happens, such as Episode 7, when Hajime and Satsuki hide there, and it is seen standing quietly in the corner. In this episode, its left and right sides are swapped from the previous appearance.

In Gakkou no Kaidan SP, the anatomy doll is named Jinta (ジンタ), and is one of the ghost hosts who introduce the episode segments.  He is voiced by Daisuke Kishio.

Appearance

The Anatomy Doll is a life-size anatomical model of a human, commonly found in science classrooms. The Anatomy Doll has the skin removed from parts of its face and body, so that the muscles and internal organs can be seen. The head also reveals one half of the brain. The wet, slimy sound effects of the Anatomy Doll in motion seem to suggest that, while moving, it has some of the properties of actual human organs, although when shattered it reverts to plastic and ceramic.

While unnerving, the Anatomy Doll appears to be harmless, not posing a threat in any of the episodes. As a ghost it is solid and animate to a degree, although limited to stiff, jerky, robotic movement. While it seems this ghost has no control over the eye painted on the 'skin', it can move the one that is connected with the muscles

Trivia

  • The Anatomy Doll appears in the end credits.
  • Anatomy Doll appears under the name "Migi Nice Guy", in episode 15, "Terror from the Toilet! Aibo Academy is Full of Ghosts!", of 2017 anime Future Card Buddyfight X. The adversary for that episode is none other than Hanako, who summons Migi Nice Guy as one of her attack monsters in the episode's buddyfight. She returns for another buddyfight in episode 45, but does not call upon Migi Nice Guy that time.
  • An Anatomy Doll appears in Episode 6 of 2013 anime The Devil Is A Part-Timer!. Hero Emilia is startled by seeing it, and smashes it with her sacred sword.
