Gakkou no Kowai Uwasa: Hanako-chan ga Kita!! (学校のコワイうわさ 花子さんがきた!!) is a game based on the 1994 anime Gakkou no Kowai Uwasa: Hanako-san ga Kita!! [1] It was released in 1995, only in Japan, for several game consoles.
A version for Nintendo DS came out in 2008.
Plot[]
The game is a first-person adventure, in which the player takes on the role of a student wandering the school. The player has to locate Hanako, and acquire her support, while avoiding menacing ghosts found throughout the schoolhouse.
The Saturn & Playstation games have the addition of several episodes from the show which play as cut scenes, as well as liberal use of the show's opening theme music.
